It happens when your HDD cant handle the game, run the game on an SSD and it should work fine ;)

Yeah you can't play this game on HDD. Unless you drive slowly. But then you need to rename game to Need for Slow Speed

maybe a 7200 RPM HDD could solve the issue

Using a 7200 RPM HDD, this happens to me very very often (couple of times per hour). Reinstalled it on my SSD and it works perfectly, but ... yeah i kinda don't want to keep it on a ssd? lol this game is a scam

what?? damn.. i planning to build a PC that has one 7200 RPM 1 TB HDD and one 240 GB M.2 SSD, so technically the issue will be solved if i install it on an SSD? is it ok though to install a game on an M.2 SSD?

Installed on ssd 120Gb C drive no suttering or lag even on low end pc.
Make sure don't fillup all your ssd. always leave half of the space example 120 gb total 60 free space so ssd work better.

yeah i use a m.2 ssd and it works okay but i don't like having games on my SSD as its only 256GB.

Well ♥♥♥♥. I don't have a SSD so that's the problem. Well that's good to know considering this summer I'm going to upgrade my pc.

This is a very old issue that was never resolved. Maybe now that it's on Steam they'll fix it. I stopped playing the game because of this.

It happens if you play the game on a HDD, apperently you can't play the game properly without an SSD
