The background use of another launcher doesn't tell anything about offline mode, though.

There is no Steam version. You just buy it on steam to run on Origin.

If by offline you mean solo then yes there is.

It's annoying though as you have to start the game, then go into options, then enable play alone which causes the game to reload into solo.

You have to have an internet connection with Origin in the background for this still though and you can't pause mid-race (unless that has changed in the years since I last played).

leave the garage and then at ingame setting under game settings the "play alone" botton can be found. but not a real offine mode.

yes really loving this game, the 1st 5 hours wasnt really that good, but now that im past the start its really fun.
acting is a little cringey but the gameplay is amazing, just what i want from a nfs game, and i hear heat is even better :)
