How do you drop items?

Okay, so I broke my hammer, and now I can't remember how to drop stuff. Dragging it out into the open doesn't do it, and none of the controls say anything about dropping.

u can drop in bookcase or anything like that

Yeah I ditched my broken stuff in some boxes and left it behind. A bit irritating but completely workable ^.^

At the end of testing, I realized that it was worth making two methods of dropping objects, classic and with the ability to set on the surface. I suppose in the next update I will implement this.

I just got into the train for the first time, went a little ways, and stopped so I could chop a tree down. I grabbed up the logs, and my inventory is screwed.

I tried dragging them out of my inventory. Nope. I tried equipping the logs and pressing every button to drop them. Nope.

I basically had to stop playing, which sucks because everything up until this point was actually really fun!

Do I really need to reverse the train back to the starting point and find some container to ditch things in?? This seems SO inconvenient. Please tell me there's some way to just ditch things!

I just bought this game, that drop comment was 3 years ago. Is this game still being worked on? Still can’t drop stuff.

The last news update was three days ago, it's absolutely still being worked on. Dunno about dropping stuff though.

Crouch, open your inventory and drag items onto the ground, to place them there. You can place items on the floor of your train, for example.

OR You can Just USE the Trash Can that you can make and it is Simple.

2025 and still waiting :) I mean I just started the game and enjoying it a lot so far. But that log thing happened to me too. Have to adda drop item mechanic in the game. Please man. I know there are workarounds but this is just some vain extra steps.

Please, big issue still running. Bought the game and is such a good idea but this is a major problem

Crouch, open your inventory and drag items onto the ground, to place them there. You can place items on the floor of your train, for example.

I honestly don't even crouch when I drop stuff... I just kinda look down at the ground, open the inventory, and start dragging whatever item 'downward' (eg. out of the inventory box) and move it around until the item changes from an icon into a big actual item. I let go, and it's on the ground.

Idk just took a couple minutes of messing around..
