game settings: res @ 1366x768 anything lower and graphics get fuzzy, quality very low, and AA 8x sampling
im at the low end of gaming graphics for the model laptop i have and at the settings i posted i can play the game pretty well i hope this helps
•Having a full food/water bar can VERY slowly refill your health to a certain point or something. That way there is more motivation to find food/water & a benefit to doing so.
•The ability to break down furniture for wood or metal scraps.
•I think an interesting zombie skin could be an “overgrown” zombie with flowers/weeds/vines growing out of it’s body.
•A double decker train car.
•I think it would be interesting if when you got onto the train the cars would be full of seats/junk you’d be forced to break down or clear out before you can build in them.
•Windows you (or perhaps also the zombies?) can break and climb in/out of.
•Hanging basket planters so you could plant tomatoes suspended from the ceiling of the box cars.
•A bleeding mechanic that slowly takes away your health after you take an especially nasty hit, only bandages can stop the bleeding, and the blood could also attract more zombies?
•Restrict certain types of loot to certain lootable locations you’d likely find them in. (I found a can of baked beans in a police car which felt really odd to me because it feels like they should be uncommon outside of kitchen cupboards.)
•I had a few glitches where zombies would walk through interior doors or push me into crates where I’d be stuck inside the crate and unable to move.
•Increased difficulty when it comes to sneaking around zombies but maybe a damage bonus if you manage to stab one from behind without it noticing?
•Maybe make two modes, a permadeath mode and a mode where you can save everytime you get back onto the train?
•Rabbits or rats that the zombies chase and can be cooked for food.
Sorry for the lengthy responsese
1 I do not quite understand what you mean by a full bar of hunger and thirst, describe in more detail.
2 Very good idea. I have already planned this for the next update.
3 The zombie design will be completely redesigned from the time I plan to create more interesting mutations and damage for the zombies, so that everyone is truly unique.
4 The possibility of building double-decker wagons will be realized when changing the modification system of residential wagons.
5 This is also a good idea. I plan on doing it this way. When the player first appears on the train in the first carriage there will be a certain amount of furniture that can be left as such and dismantled for resources.
6 The destruction of wagons is also planned after a new system for the modification of residential wagons is introduced.
7 The idea of hanging pods for vegetables is interesting. I'll think about how this could be implemented.
8 This is also a good idea. I will add it to the list and consider its implementation.
9 Unfortunately, there is such a problem. I intentionally made the zombies block the player, but did not expect them to push into the walls. Now I’m thinking how to avoid this.
10 The choice of the level of difficulty of the game will be implemented from time to time. As for stealth killings, they are already implemented in the game, you can do this with a dagger, but the condition, the zombie should not notice you.
11 Yes, hunting is planned in the game in the future.
Here’s a few more ideas I had:
•Sparse clusters of trees/grass in the beginning area to give the landscape a little more flavor.
•Obstacles you occasionally might have to stop the train and remove in order to continue on the tracks. (Like fallen trees, garbage, cars, etc.)
•Add pistol silencers and increase the gunshot detection range, but also maybe increase gunshot headshot damage? (Like -3 shots to the head instead of 4.)
•Bird nests to collect feathers from & branches you can collect to craft arrows instead of just the metal ones.
•Zombies should be able to climb onto the trains.
•Flashlight.
•A craftable slingshot and metal pellets you can fire from the slingshot to kill enemies?
•Exterior ladders that let you climb on top of the train cars.
•You should be able to collect water from toilet tanks.
•Craftable spears which hit at a further range and make it slightly harder for the zombies to hit you.
•You should be able to search the pockets of zombies you kill. (Find money, energy bars, etc.)
•Vending machines for the money you get in game?
* Yes, I plan to work over time to create beautiful nature in the game.
* Obstacles are also planned, although for now I plan more substantial ones, but your idea also deserves attention.
* Since time I want to devote a lot of time to modifying weapons, it will be possible to use silencers, enlarged magazines, additional sights including optical.
* With regard to collecting feathers, this will probably complicate the gameplay for such a game, but the future will show, perhaps many players will be for such detailing of the craft.
* Yes, it is planned to implement zombie attacks on the train with the possibility of damaging it. But most likely this will be realized after the modular construction of wagons is implemented.
* Flashlights will be implemented in the next update.
* I think the slingshot is an extra weapon, since it is very easy to make a bow and it is very powerful.
* I’m not sure that I’m realizing the opportunity to climb the roof, unless the player can make the second floor and put the ladder up but will not yet draw up the walls of the second floor.
* As I understand it, you are impressed with the game for 7 days to die? )
* I’ll write down the idea with spears and think about whether it makes sense.
* Over time, I plan to create the ability to search the bodies of dead zombies.
* Trading apparts are not logical during the post-apocalypse, the survivor would just have broken it and took the provisions. )
Thank you for your ideas!
