Hi DDDimanN, but, we really can't split anything. Don't remember have this problem in the 4.0 version. But today, i really can't. put Shift key or not, do the same ( it's like Shift is not recognize) and we have all the time the message "you will be overload"

for information, i am using an Azerty keyboard and i have bind my key in the control windows.

keep shift key and drag mous with item to a clear inventry

Only works for storage boxes .. Hold shift _ Drag item from storage to your inventory while holding shift _ you should get a quantity window pop-up _ release shift _ use slider or number pad on key board for how many _ hit enter and that will put it into your inventory.
Shelving does NOT have a option for sorting .. only full stacks of how many you want
