SIGNALIS symbol might be a unfolded/fractal tesseract?

EDIT: Added the image I'm referring to and a link to tesseracts as I realise people might be thinking I'm referring to the game icon rather than the main logo from the main menu and other parts of the game.

So I'm playing the Humble Bundle version and upon completing the ARTIFACT ending, I was trying to work out what exactly the artifact was. I was basically digging through my notes and something I wrote about the ritual Isa performs seemed to suggest it, so I looked at the SIGNALIS logo again and I think it might be an attempt to represent a fractal tesseract? Or maybe just multiple overlayed tesseracts in 2D? It'd be great if someone with a bit more advanced mathematical knowledge can confirm.

This is potentially interesting (to me), because a tesseract is essentially a 4D object that treats time as non-linear (at least as far as I understand it). This lends some credence the idea of a looping cycle (or at least, the idea that the timeline can be traversed at will), but also an interesting element to the eldritch nature of the "meat", which is also possibly invading across spacetime. What are your thoughts?

I was referring to the logo on the main menu page, unless you're saying it's a combination of Penrose Triangles?
