Penrose 512 location, possible links to Ghroth, and the Music of the Spheres.
I was reading about the expanded Lovecraftian universe, especially lesser known Outer Gods and stumbled upon Ghroth, which is described as "An Outer God that resembles a rust-colored moon with a single gigantic red eye that sometimes closes to avoid detection. As Ghroth gets closer to a world its mere proximity causes the planet experience natural disasters. It drifts throughout the universe singing a haunting siren song or melody known as "The Music of the Spheres." It is known as the Harbinger and is associated with planetary catastrophe, and any Great Old Ones or Outer Gods sleeping on a planet that Ghroth passes are awakened by its call."

Ghroth was created by Ramsey Campbell for this short story "The Tugging." This story is found in the 1976 anthology "The Disciples of Cthulu."

The Music of the Spheres is also known as the Musica Universalis "Universal Music." It is a philosophical concept that regards to the proporation in the movement of celestial bodies as a form of music...Pythagoras proposed that the Sun, Moon, and all the planets emit their own unique hum based on their orbital revolution and the Earth reflects the celestial sounds which are physically imperceptible to the human ear."

I always thought the way the Gestalt crumble into dust over the warping of reality also had links or similarities to the Color out of Space since it was never disease or radiation that was the root cause.
