Though, probably the reason why the game isn't tagged for LGBT+ is because it's not really the game's main focus, to give a serious answer.
I don't really know any combination of words that would say "Being gay isn't a character trait, rather a thing people just are." that doesn't sound reductive but I'm sure you get my point anyway.
Though, I still think it's nice to see queer characters.
(Little addendum I wanted to add, I'm often not great at putting my thoughts about games onto 'paper' so to speak.
Granted, that's my opinion and I personally didn't see much queer theming. Though admittedly I'm about as sharp as a hammer one might keep in their shed.)
tendency to focus more on the the LGBTQ+ personality type; like "societal pressure gay, coming out of the closet gay, discovering your bi-attraction, the token pansexual character, etc". its a Tag with its own archtypes like "Souls-Like+".
This game doesn't focus on those at all. Its more on the Survival Horror and Yuri weeb side ala just straight up sapphic romance without the shebang.
There are lore aspects where its could be considered an allegory where its forbidden to be romantically involved with their Replikas in the game but that's more on the general side rather than gender preference specific.
Are + also all the individual whos uses AI sex toys?
what game did you people play? because it clearly wasnt signalis lol
Agree with them and I definitely played Signalis.
I don't give a damn about the sexual orientation of a bunch of pixels, if what strikes you the most with this game is the heroine being lesbian, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fine.
I guess the T-800 in Terminator 2 - another machine with a mission - was some kind of futuristic pedo-creep then, 'cause he sure went through a lot to protect that annoying child.
