Also.. "gimp nubs" isn't a thing that I needed in my mind lol
Oh don't mind me, but just nubs would suffice I think. "Oh just like Spot from Boston Dynamics, Metal Gear Ray or Aigis from Persona" rather than "Leather, ball gags and Marcellus Wallace about to have a bad time." mental image lol
On topic, it's probably stylistic choice/asset reuse, rather than some macabre government shenanigans... like foot binding (don't Google that) or surgical procedure...
Even the more detailed models from the flashback cutscene at the school do not have feet.
Yeah I wasn't trying to imply that there was some sort of sexual sort of thing going on, just thought 'gimp nubs' was funny ;-;
Anyway, stylistic or not it just seems a bit odd for the humans not to have any sort of modeled boots or what not. I'm not trying to say I want to see Ariane's feet or whatever, but it was just really weird seeing that Ariane and Isa (or the school bullies in the flashback) to have the same sort of weird stubby legs that all the Replika's have
Probably just like you said, asset recoloring and reuse. Regardless the game is really good, and this is probably a nonissue, but I wanted to bring it up
thats why you hire someone else who can or, you know, git gud.
