I don't get why the Mynah unit vomited it's face

it didn't seem infected so I'm actually wondering what the deal was. Myanah's don't seem all that organic with the only part of the machine being the head. I suppose it's organs are in the suite but I'm just lost. I would also think the Myanah would be less like to be infected due to it's suite being so robust. Now I know some weird time distortion stuff is happening along with the mind of a woman creating the horrors, but the whole thing just doesn't make much sense. How is there some units not infected while the majority are. For instance you run into several protektors that aren't infected, a kolibri, a Mynah, some Eula, and obviously you. Is this an infection or is the mind of Ariane's bioresonate energy just causing random replikas to mutate. I suppose this is going further than just wondering why a Mynah unit vomited it's face after looking fine like 10 seconds ago but everything is just out of the ordinary. it's not your typical zombie virus, it causes humans to just disintegrate, Replikas to turn into monsters, and for some reason there is a time distortion occurring while all of this is happening. I get the promise made was to kill Ariane to stop the nightmare but it also doesn't explain how she got these powers or what awoken them.

While Replikas are not organic, their internals are lab-grown organs that mimic a person's, however there are reports that they're not suitable for consumption so they aren't exactly 100% organic.

There are also reports that certain individuals have the ability to control bioresonance to varying degrees. Ariane is one of them, but it's never explained how and why.

With Ariane suffering in cryo from radiation poisoning, wishing for her Elster partner to come and complete the promise, I say her bioresonant powers kick in and affect the entire facility, with the effects representative of Ariane's suffering.

Gestalts disintegrating could be like people who were killed in Nuclear bombings leaving behind a shadow of sorts. For the infected Myanah unit, it's also what happened to other Replikas infected with their synthetic skin melting off.

There appears to be fleshy tumors around throughout the game, which is a potential effect of coming into contact with radiation.

I say the sudden melting of the Myanah's face could either be a stylistic choice by the devs or could be Ariane's bioresonance in effect on the Myanah unit.
Personally, I don't think the synthetic skin melting would be a slow process, with some notes speak of the Replikas going beserk in the mines as a sudden change.

Yeah, and it could be that she's doing this without realizing, as she probably didn't know that she had bioresonance powers.

This makes a lot of sense, but I still find it amusing to just have a Mynah unit sitting alone in a room, possibly locked away or maybe self-isolated and when a random Elster unit drops in, its face just melts off. Or maybe it was deactivated and the bioresonance reactivated it as it does with the downed enemies?

It's part of the decaying process all the replika's are experience on some level. You meet another Myanah unit in the mines suffering from similar fluid based issues. They are dying by bleeding out effectively, however they are very durable/hardy. They are resistance to damage of all sorts and radiation is specifically mentioned in the game with the lore about them.

Someone before mentioned a theory that the mynahs interior is composed of organic materials that corrupted ones are constantly trying to eject because it keeps growing from the inside like the masses of flesh in rotfront. Mynahs only have a face so they could have a more "humane" design, the real Mynah is the armor.

As for the growing flesh, it could be a representation of the ever growing tumors caused by the radioactive cancer in ariane because of the leaking reactor, and that seems more plausible if you consider that Rotfront seems to have the most of the meat things (excluding Nowhere because that one seems to be a clash between Falke and Ariane's memories)
