Look, just give us the damn price already FFS.
You can't expect us to wait till the final day for us to know the price, there are other games that are already pre-ordered or other games that will be released. We should know the price AT LEAST 1 week before the release, that's the bare minimum, but i would say we should have the option to pre-order the game 1 month before it has been released.

I either have to sacrifice RE8 PS5 DLC for this, or this for the RE8 PS5 DLC. And it takes a few days from Sony to get my money back, probably around 2-3, plus there is no chance the price will match.

Shadow of Rose is 20€ or so, but we don't know the price of SIGNALIS at all. So if i refund right now, what makes you think i will be able to afford it if it's more than 20€? or 20$ whatever.

The company where i worked went bankrupt recently, so currently, i don't have a job. In fact, i can't even find one if i wanted it. It happened recently.

Sitting at 1€ in my back account, pretty, ain't it? While i was making 3000€ per month before.

There are also other priorities i have, like smoking/vaping, food, bills, etc.
Yeah, i don't know exactly how to spend money efficiently. Because when i get it, i pay for whatever i want, games, tattoos, piercings, rollerblades and i waste most of it in a week, i just save some if i am going outside for a soft drink or something to eat.

We don't even know how long this game is going to be. And the length doesn't matter THAT much, but Shadow of Rose is 4 hours long, that makes it around half of the game total lenght, plus third person, plus mercenaries mode. Which would mean, a whole lot of damn fun and a whole lot of hours. However, SIGNALIS might also have difficulty modes to unlock, challenges like no damage, no guns, etc. Sequence breaking. So there is also that to keep in mind. It might not be linear as we all think it is.

But this game is stuck in my mind, it just keep staring me back. I really want it, yet i don't have the money to pay for it unless i refund the DLC.

It's already shaky that you removed the demo, but keeping the price a secret is also a bit suspicious.

I don't have a doubt that this game will be great, since it lives to the survival horror expectations from the demo. But it would be fun to know how much we are going to pay.

It's either i am refund the DLC today, or i am simply not. I would simply ask the devs directly, but how? Their Profile is private.

Ok, i give up. There is nothing i can do. I cancelled my pre-order of Winter's Expansion, and i will be buying this for the PS5 (It says there is a PS5 version). But it better cost the same or less. All i have seen are physical editions for 30€, that's a bit too much. But on Nintendo, it's listed 15€. So i hope it's actually 15€/20€.

And i really hope the resolution is at least 4K, 1800p or 1440p at the very least on consoles. Otherwise Steam it is.

And that blog post passed the first paragraph was necessary because?

Because i couldn't decide if i want to refund the DLC with the stupid SONY refund policy or not. And because the DLC is like half the actual game, plus additional game modes. I don't know how long this game will be, how many variation and replayability it will have, etc. I know exactly what i am getting with Resident Evil when it comes to replayability. And it's in spades.

Unlike Ghost Song, this is under the wraps. No set price, no discord, no information, nothing. I even tried to e-mail them and send them a FB message, but nothing.

If it's more than 20€ then it means i can't even buy it if refund the DLC (Which i already did).

There is also a store page for PS5, but on the trailer it says PS4. It's confusing as all hell.
If i buy it on PSN, that means i am expecting 4K assets to go along with it if there is a PS5 version. And if it's only PS4, then what resolution i am getting at the end?

It looks nice on the monitor, but looks horrible via Steam Link unless i actually bump my resolution to 4K and set the in-game resolution to 4K. Then it looks WAY better than 1080p on a 4K screen. (With the CRT filter on, no way i am playing it without it).

Well, if that'll cheer you up, I saw someone posting someone's tweet who mentioned the game when they tried it (probably got a free copy) and the price. It's going to be $20. We'll know for sure in three days, but I think that'll be the official price.

I just hope that this game is really worth $20 of all its content and longevity.
Well, same. If it's around 6-8 hours, for me it's worth it. And especially if it has some bonus things like NG+, Item Randomizer or similar thing like Madhouse from RE7. Or that you can complete the game without using guns, etc.

Only two more days!

buy the indie, they need the money more than capcom, besides, winters expansion will go on sale eventually
I know, i know. Capcom has a crapton of money anyway. Just wanted to know a bit of information since i mostly play on PS5 now due to my CPU being a big bottleneck for many games (i5-7600k).
I ain't reading all of that. Just for the price of the game, you go ape.
Yes. You don't have to read any of that if you don't know any information anyway.
Of course i am asking for the price, because i have to either sacrifice one thing over another to get this. I got the price, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions like PSN saying threre is a PS5 and PS4 version, but the trailer only says PS4 version.

Good morning sirs, this game will come out on Microsoft Game Pass. You can get a month trial for about $1.00 this can help out your financial situation. :gmod::gmod:
I don't use Game Pass, i like to own the game. It's not a problem on Steam, i can just get it and that's it. But i also play a lot of games on my PS4/5. So there is that problem that we don't really have any info regarding the resolution target of those platforms.

Also what is confusing is that the trailer only mentions last gen consoles, while PSN mentions PS5 and PS4. If i am going to buy it on the console, that means i need more info on what the actual resolution is. Because if it's 1080p, good luck seeing anything with the CRT Filter on. I tried Steam Link to my TV on my 1080p monitor that is 240HZ, and you can barely read the text at 4K on the TV. Bumped up DSR to 4K and it looked perfect on Steam Link on my 4K TV.

So i don't know their target resolution for consoles. On monitor, looks perfectly fine. Besides, you can subscribe to Humble Bundle and get Deathloop and Signalis for 9$ as Steam Keys, or even a bunch of games that are like Game Pass, including Ghost Song. However Ghost Song is just live service ATM unless you buy it.

I will just probably get this on Steam and save myself the trouble of counting pixels.
And Ghost Song on PS5 since assets are 4K. Best of both worlds.

You should not act entitled. It just is the very definition of "First World Problems".
You have no idea who you might just "scare" away that has the information you seek but instead decide to go elsewhere.

I do understand the whole wanting to own a hard copy thing though. I dislike Game Pass and similar services and this is simply an entirely different variation of "Rent-To-Own" it really is quite a turn off. I don't get the whole "Lease-To-Own" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and this is simply a variation of that.

I remember back in the early 80's they had a many a different businesses that always promoted "Lease to Buy" with low interest rates and delivery options available!

On a side note and not meaning to stick my nose in your business but you should really quit vaping. The oil they use which can some times be a Vegetable Oil derivative is super unhealthy and can after a time collect as a thick goo in the lungs. I quit smoking cigarettes cold turkey back on December 31st 2021 and it's amazing how much better I feel. On the plus side best of luck finding new work/job.

Take it easy!

Doesn't it bother that you likely cannot even read cursive lettering but that 2 or 3 paragraphs literally scare you away in fear of reading "all of that"?

Thank you for the laugh today. I needed that.

Yeah, i was reading some information about vaping after i quit smoking. It's just a way to turn away from smoking, and then, with vaping, helping me to quit it altogether.
But i can't deny it i enjoy some liquids.

I decided that in the end, i will just buy this on Steam and that's that. Less of a hassle since we are dealing with the lack of information on consoles.

After i got my PS5, i switched all my gaming to that. But i usually play Indie Games on Steam the most, and AAA games are reserved for my PS5 because i am too lazy to upgrade my 2017 PC.

Yeah, thanks. Already applied for Sony and got the job there as a Community Manager/Technical Assistant for Sony EU-JPN. Since i worked at gaming expos in my Country, it was easy to get a recommendation.

So thanks!
