Possibility of a GOG release?

SIGNALIS on Steam is DRM-free, and so is its demo (that's how it was possible to play the demo this whole time even after it had "expired"). If you rename your Steam.exe so the game can't find it, it still plays perfectly if you launch it from its own folder.

Pretty much all the games published by Humble Games are on GOG, so I thought it was guaranteed that SIGNALIS would also be released there, but there seems to be some problem, does anyone know anything about this?

Still doesn't hit the same. GOG all the way. I want all my DRM free games on the same launcher.

I have tried doing what you mentioned and it doesn't work.
