So... EA broke the game and can't play anymore... If anyone has a solution (with a video please) i would be very glad.

Anyway , this is the error:

I don't think so. The anti-cheat is a Windows program, but there might be an EA anti-cheat for Linux

welp, i'm not gonna be the one to buy the game and test it. Let me know anyone if it's possible though

I found a solution to fix the problem.

1. Go to the SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\PVZ Battle for Neighborville\__Installer\EAAntiCheat folder.
2. Launch EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe
3. Select Battlefield 2024 and click Install.
4. After installation, click "Update".
5. The program will restart.
6. When the program opens, select the game PVZ Battle for Neighborville. Then click Install.
7. After installation, click "Repair" and specify the folder with the game PVZ Battle for Neighborville.
8. Done!

I found a solution, I had to download EA anticheat from the EA page

1. Download EA anticheat
   
2. Open it and choose the game "Plant vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville"
   
3. Click on the repair button and select the folder where the game is installed
   
4. Wait for the repair process to finish
   
5. Done

I really hope this helps others who might be running into the same error!

I deleted the EAAntiCheat files.GameServiceLauncher.exe and Eac anticheat.Game Service Launcher.dll , after which the game immediately started, but then crashed.

I did your thing... THE GAME FINALLY WORKED... But then, an error about my drivers of my Graphic Card (RTX 3060) make a stop on the game... Haha.. I can't with this game.

This is the funniest problem solving steps I've ever seen

at first it was EAC issue..games crashed..need to repair it somehow..then the game just won't launch..the launcher just closed by itself after few seconds..i found out the issue due to EAC service not running due to no idea..so if you guys still want to play this game desperately. I found a solution that works for me but not the best one..i just restore everything back and play other games..haha

0. Create System Restore point
1. Uninstall EAC completely.
2. run "msconfig" and on services tab, check hide all microsoft services and hit disable all
3. still in msconfig Startup tab, open task manager and disable all Startup app
4. Hit apply in msconfig and restart computer
5. Install EAC again with Battlefield 2042 and repair.
6. Try running the game again

I tried this but there is the slight issue of this folder not existing on my computer. I've played this game before so I don't know whats happened.
