I bought this on steam, but after I click play origin client asks me for a game code, which I didn't receive from steam, what's wrong with my game?

I was confused at first because in my case, Steam obviously doesn't give a CD key, but it turned out it was because Origin didn't recognize the game the first time it tried to launch: it was "Unidentified Game." When I launched it "for real" it immediately corrected and shows in Origin. Hasn't prompted me for a key again, got the Deluxe Edition stuff and everything.

Fun fact: Steam has CD keys for older games that required them.

Yeah, I know; I've had the distinct displeasure of having to use them a number of times. That's why I knew where to look for this game.
