Any chance of getting PvZ2 on PC? I LOVED the original on Steam and have racked up a lot of hours playing it. Have no interest in any PvZ FPS nonsense. Give me tower defense!

You can play it via emulator. For the record I finished entire game without spending a cent.

I think Popcap said a few years back that they'd port it once the game was fully "done" update-wise, but that still has to come.
There is some unused code in the game relating to 3D acceleration and fullscreen mode, but that's it.

Game sucks, it was built to exploit micros on a mobile platform. For years people been begging for it on PC... NO! Just make a PvZ3 and don't load it up with micro trash.

Ye' know if they bundled the game with all the $$$ stuff and put it up on steam for 10$ it would boost the game's reputation by like a billion%.

I liked it and never paid for anything, was one of a few games i actually liked on mobile. :P

It was so littered with ads you were definitely paying for it, just not out of you bank account.

Still not half as good as the first one even free.

PvZ 2 can be played fully offline tho and there are no ads then. Sadly PvZ 3 is online only but I already beat that nightmare.

PvZ 3 was probably the most boring one of 3.

If they put all the In App Purchases for free in Steam version for PvZ2 and sold it for $10-$15, I would def get it

PvZ 2 had none of the balancing of PvZ 1 regardless of whether you paid money or not. The very fact that you have to say "I didn't spend a cent" every time you bring it up speaks for itself. I'd rather we just forget 2 existed.

Because of course mobile ads, daily challenges, weekly "deals", a free-to-play model, and bad mouse controls are what EVERYONE wants from a "PC" game.

Not to mention that it was pretty grindy. They would have to do a lot of tweaking to release it as a non-freemium game, more than just removing MTs and ads, and they probably never had plans to do that.

Just revert the game back to the Modern Day update, simple as that.
I mean, it was the last version of the game that I played back in 2015/16.
