Thank you everyone so much for all the support! I'm so excited to share the wonderful voice acting everyone did.

Please note that this update will break saves. If you wish to continue playing with your previous saves, you can do this using Steam's "Betas" tab to roll back to a previous version, accessible via right-clicking on the game in Steam and selecting "Properties".

• Note for ARM Linux users: You will not be able to earn Steam achievements/trophies while running native ARM Linux builds of the game, as Valve currently only provides an x86_64 version of the Steamworks dynamic library for Linux (libsteam_api.so). If you run the x86_64 build of the game via a translation layer such as Box64 or FEX, Steam achievements/trophies should work as expected.

It's been four years?! Time passes so quickly for us mortals… Happy fourth anniversary to Without a Voice! We have received so much support and love over the years, and we're so grateful. Somehow it's been four years since we released the game in 2020, and eight since we first announced it in 2016, phew!

It's been a busy few months at L³. Just a few days ago, we released the head well lost, the dullahan dating otome game!

I hope you all check it out! As it takes place in a modern setting, it's quite different to WaV, but it has that same hint of darkness and the supernatural that I think will be familiar to you!

Additionally, we have a very exciting announcement for Without a Voice:


2.0?! What does that mean? It means a full feature update for free for everyone! We're adding:

• Full English voice acting!!
  
• A brand new reward for completing all endings in the form of an extra illustration and story!
  
• Achievements—both in-game and on Steam!
  
• An updated key visual and artbook cover!
  
• …also a bunch of fixes, alongside greatly improved controller support!

But that's not all! We're so happy to also announce the new version of the $5 supporter bonus:

The what? The definitive edition of Without a Voice!

For supporters at the $5 level, the artbook tier is being upgraded to a full patch with:

• A built-in artbook viewer, as well as a PDF of the artbook provided with the game files
  
• Four brand-new epilogue short stories
  
• Two new illustrations

Also, the guide in the artbook is being fixed and also improved. Sorry about that!

Dang!! I think that's kind of nice!! And guess what: it'll be retroactive too! People who have already supported us with $5 and above, will also receive this, and you'll be able to download it right here. You'll still have access to the PDF—that'll be getting a minor update to accommodate the updated artwork and artbook fixes.

But wait!! There's more!!!

With the monetary support from the Queer Games Bundle and the Queer Halloween Stories Bundle, we were able to fully fund the voice acting. But we as the developers would love to have our hands on a physical version of this game, and maybe some of you would be interested in that as well…
