Launch Configuration Tool does not recognize Xinput controller

We've been very tolerant of these bare-minimum ports, City Connection, but they're going from bad to worse. Unlike the last two, I cannot even get my controller recognized. Right now I'm afraid I'll have to refund unless this is fixed.

I have that exact same stick and it works perfect in xinput for me in this game (windows 10 shows it as an Xbox 360 controller). I would try reinstalling the controller drivers or updating the firmware.

Also, in case anyone else is wondering about controller compatibility, I checked my retro-bit Saturn controller in xinput as well (connected via USB, it's the bluetooth model but I am too lazy to keep getting my bluetooth receiver out) and it works and is recognized as an XB360 controller as well.

Another note I just thought about: I never use the config tool launcher to set my controls, I always just adjust them in-game. So if your stick still isn't working after reinstalling the drivers I would try to clear the game settings and start over there.

Not working with directinput either. I'm just using joytokey for now but it would be nice to have it fixed.

Are you talking about arcade sticks? Xbox One and Switch Pro controllers work fine for me.

arcade stick with a brook UFB installed init works also just fine

Yup, talking about arcade sticks. My Xinput arcade stick (Mayflash F500 Elite) is not recognized in Xbox Controller mode. It should be. Works fine with City Connection's other releases.

Ok, without updating firmware or drivers or anything, bypassing the launcher got it working. Thanks for that! Now I can play in portrait mode on my arcade stick at my standing desk -- it's almost like having an arcade cabinet at home.
