Difference between animations and scenes?

All animations are available right from the start, but scenes you must unlock, so whats the difference? I only played game a little

Scenes are dialogues that often contain an animation. Animations are simply the object that contains the logic to show an animation on screen.

All animations being unlocked from the start is a result of us adding them mid-development.

cool! Does that mean that there are more cool sexy scenes that you cant see in animations? I mean scene specific animations that arent in animations tab

All animations are used in at least one scene, and there are scenes that do not use an animation and use still images instead.

Are the still images going to permanent? Or are there plans to make them animated? Assuming they are sexual it would be great to have it all animated.

No, it comes with the game right away.

So they aren't supposed to be unlocked from the beginning

They are intended to be unlocked.
