Can't select abilities

Pretty much that, really - I've just started a new game after a while spent away from TC, and while I can move and attack, I can't use Jenna's dash ability. It just won't select. Is there a fix for this, or is it just a known bug that stops you from doing combat properly?

Is there no dialogue popup when you try to select an ability? It should tell you the lore reason why you can't.

The issue seemed to self-correct in time for the boss fight with Leath, but for the first two fights in the Peitho stronghold in the prologue, I had no way to select the ability, no matter which key I used or how many times I clicked it. It is just the prologue, so it didn't cause me too many problems, but it was frustrating.

I did notice that when I could use the dash ability, a description of the ability popped up, which it didn't during the earlier fights.

If you have a savefile we can use to reproduce this, it would help us a lot with fixing the bug! ^-^

Hooking up my Xbox controller fixed it for me.
