If i played the demo, does my progress carry over to the full version? I really don't want to start all over again, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated <3

i dont see the saves or other progress from demo after buying the full version. i finished the demo, and would rather not redo it all.

i played both the demo and full game on linux with proton experimental enabled, if that matters.

the full game seems to sync to steam cloud but the demo does not, demo does not have steam cloud even as option in properties, although it is listed as support it.

is there some way to copy the progress over?

Sorry, I don't know, I've never used proton.

I imagine what happened here is that for each steam game, proton simulates the windows environment separately, leading to the savefiles not being found?

I don't know if there's an easy way to find the savefiles in the simulated windows directories, but on windows, they are located at Users/(Your Name)/AppData/LocalLow/Anduo Games/Third Crisis/Saves

I found the files eventually. Steam Proton does create separate simulated directory for each game and it is not too difficult to find people asking for where to find the savefiles on Proton.

All the responses just refer to /home/user/.steam/steam/steamapps/... where a directory per install exists. Its just if you set the Steam drive to other than the root system it creates the steamapps on that other drive and you need to find the per-game directory there. Once you figure that out its simple.

Copying the Saves directory from the demo app specific to the full game app specific directory restored my saves. After a while of loading saves it also seems to have triggered a bunch of achievements.

To get pinups to show, it seems I had to copy also gallery.sav.

Is there anything else that needs to be noted/copied?
