How am I supposed to know character ages for the quiz?

Even the wiki's stated ages are wrong and some don't even have a defined answer.

If you didn't put anything in the game just say so.

It's not that difficult to just say yes there's nothing in the game and you have/don't have plans to add it.

On top of that are you suggesting I make 1 attempt per event which is what a 5% chance per floor? with a 4 in 5 chance of failing for who knows how many different characters that I have no knowledge or information about AND memorize the 50-100 or more possibilities.

You might want to rethink this game mechanic.

My apology if my expression made you felt it is sarcasm.
In a nutshell, the answer here is basing on the character's age when it first appears in the original Touhou game.
For example, Reimu is below 17, and Mokou is well above 1000 years old.
Where Flandre is 495, and Reimilia is 500
There is some degree of knowledge about Tohou and reasoning required.

Even if we don't consider the fanon, canon-wise we have some stuff to consider.

Like Yukari being there since before the hakurei barrier, let alone gensokyo, was a thing.

Or that Mokou and Kaguya are the same girls from the kaguya's tale.

Flandre being 5 year younger than her sister.
And Remi being AT LEAST 500 years old according to canon information.

Other examples might be Reisen, that escaped from the moon around the time Apollo landed (IIRC), Kasen being one of the sages of Gensokyo, but also one of the youngest ones, so nowhere the age of Yukari but also not young enough to be less than 100 years old.

Maribel & Renko both being in college, so at least 20+
Sumireko being actually younger than those two but not young enough to be on elementary school...

Yuuka being there around the same time Yukari appeared so at least one freaking gap-hag years old.

Tewi being based on the Inaba Hare.

Eirin being an inmortal...

Sanae being around the same age as Reimu

I can go on and on... But stuff like this is scattered through the touhou franchise.

Also, fanon wise they all have a certain accepted age.
It's not mean for you to know if you aren't that deep into the touhou lore.
And even if you are, no age is confirmed is all estimations.
