There are some third-party apps on the Quest store (currently virtual desktop), which have recently added the ability to emulate an index controller via finger tracking, and in this way the hands are recognized by the game, but the experience doesn't seem to be the best, both for emulation reasons and because the game is not designed for that type of control (buttons are missing and precision would require a different calibration).
I would recommend to try the other control modes for the guitar, a controller (even the PC keyboard is compatible :)), or the drums.
are the old xbox 360 guitar hero controllers compatible? i would use a dongle to connect the xbox 360 guitar hero guitar to my pc. it worked with the game "Clone Hero" on pc.
We tested lots (USB, bluetooth, 360, ps3, ps4...) of guitar and drums controllers and all worked fine. You would only need to assign proper buttons in the settings menu.
allright ty :) i rly hope the game is good :D want to get my wife into it aswell so one can play guitar and the other one the drums :D
