1. the import process already takes into account the different BPM markers put into the charts, the BPM you find in the song selection menu is the max of all the BPM events in the chart but it only influence the final speed of the notes.
Our maps are time based while imported charts are resolution/BPM based, so we convert their "units" into time taking into account of the BPM change events on the synch track.
To better understand the issue you are reporting, is there any example you can send to me privately or you did noticed a precision issue for every chart you tried?
2. the game has been mostly playtested with the included original ost, but we'll look into some other maps in order to improve the gameplay experience. Even there if you can send us a sample you think it could be useful to us we would be glad to look at it to improve our game.
3. this seems to be a bug to me if I've understood correctly, it may have entered with one of the latest updates... we'll look into this
4. an option to choose note speed will come for sure with the gameplay modificators updates we planned. Meanwhile we could look more into having a better speed from the beginning.
5. you should already be able to keep holding for a rapid succession of chords, there could be some issue there with imported songs, we'll look into that too.
This is our first product as indie devs, we will definitely take this and other feedback into consideration. We released the game in early access because we want to involve users during the development process in order to not only create the game we dream about, but also get a better quality product.

Just looking at your reply to "3" as that is the issue I mentioned before. Download some custom songs wich bpm is around 80 , and you will see what we mean, compare that to something which is "twice as fast" as it looks correct. I think defo altering the note speed on the lower end to be faster and more in line with the average would feel good. I do however agree that it should be a condition we as players can control. If you are bringing it into a modifiers update... please dont put any score reduction or advantage on this. We want this more as a setting, to player preference over a "gameplay modifier"
