Friend's Pass overwrites Shared Library progress (?)

Me and my partner share our Steam Libraries, which allowed her to play the game and earn unlocks, as she was *technically* playing on her own save.
We've tried playing alongside eachother, with her using the Friend's Pass.

This, however, has reset all of her previous unlocks, and doesn't allow her to use those that she earned previously, nor get any new ones (other than just earning them, and "unlocking them after buying the full game).
She isn't allowed to start any matches on her own, either.
Which worked fine, while she played from my Library.

Clearly, there's some sync issues regarding Steam Shared Libraries and the Friend's Pass.
Any solutions to this?

Dear player,

Regarding the issue you reported with the "Steam Family Library Sharing" feature, please try logging back into the game.

In case of persisting issues, it may be due to having the Friend Pass version installed.
To resolve the issue, please follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Help" option located in the upper left corner of the Steam interface.
2. From the available options, select "Steam Support".
3. Locate and choose "Party Animals".
4. Select the last option, which states "I want to permanently remove this game from my account".
After completing these steps, please try opening the game again.
