it's the stamina level or the actual way of how you got KO'd, i got knocked out and couldn't recover when I got KO'd in mid air while trying to KO another opponent with a kick, it's probably due to the strength of the hit, when i get knocked out and able to recover it's always a normal punch or kick whereas if it was a weapon i would take longer.

On the ground, there is nothing you can do. The amount of time you stay knocked out seems random(ish).

If you are being carried and come to, spamming attack buttons will drain opponents stamina and cause them to drop you.

Game can certainly cause some frustation. I can cleanly punch someone out and pick them up right away and they are squirming out as soon as i grab them. On the other hand, I can take a random hit, get picked up, walked several feet and thrown off a ledge, land and still not regain consciousness for a second or two.

Part of the game's "charm", I suppose.

I was told if you have low stamina when you are knocked out you will stay down longer then someone who has higher stamina when knocked out don't know how true this is but its what i was told. Just start hitting buttons asap to drain opponent stamina.

Honestly, the fact that I don't know what causes longer or shorter knockouts besides how heavy the hit is makes me really wish I could test things and see the numbers because not knowing why I'll be downed for 5-10 seconds by the same punch that only downs the enemy for 2-3 seconds gets frustrating if you play a lot of rounds in a row, lol.

But I'm the kinda guy who will sit in a practice mode for 5 hours trying things out and even looking at whatever code I can to try to figure out EXACTLY how game mechanics work, lol.

Tbh sometimes i think people are cheating because they can knock you out for 5 seconds and you can't do anything. This is not fun anymore losing all the time and it has nothing to do with stamina, i test it by only attacking with light punches and still knocked out for 5 seconds.

If you wanna do an actual test in a 1v1 I'm down to load up OBS and have you hit me with different attacks so I can see exactly how long each knockout lasts without worrying about being thrown off the map. Will probably make a thread with the results if it's anything interesting so other people can have better understanding of the knockout times too.

You can't. The mechanics and physics are all broken, frustrating and not enjoyable.

Sry i already have deinstalled the game. It is better to move on. There are better games to play than wasting it on this one that brings me no joy anymore.
