How do I equip the new thowable items?

I have unlocked the watermelon rind and I want to equip it, but I can't find the way to do it.

Hey there,

When you're eliminated and in the spectator view, you can toggle the appearance of the throwable items between watermelon rind and pineapple by pressing the "W" and "S" keys on your keyboard.

Additionally, you can easily switch the items' appearance by hovering your mouse over the throwable item icon and right-clicking.

No, that's no possible. I bought the watermelon and can't trade the item like you explained.

Sorry for the confusion.

Currently, only the watermelon rind and pineapple obtained during the previous Battle Pass event can be used to switch the appearance of the items in-game.

If you purchased the watermelon rind and pineapple from the Vending Machine in the Winter Cabin, you can use them while playing the board games.
