LT to accelerate... wtf ?

Im fine with it using Left Trigger. You can always just swap them in the controller settings in Steam for that game and make a template for racing mode.

I thought the controls were weirdly mapped as well and it's weird that there doesn't seem to be an in-game way to remap the controls in that mode.

Here's how I would've mapped it, taking a page from Mario Kart and Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers:

Xbox controls listed since that's what I mainly use

    
• A - Accelerate
      
• X - Brake
      
• B - Rearview
      
• RB/RT - Drift
      
• LB/LT - Use Item

X - Drift

Sorry but A to accelerate is a big no, we're not in 2004 anymore.
But I agree that it's damn weird we cant map the buttons specially when we can remap the keys in the settings...
