"CLIENT VERSION OUTDATED"

Im trying to play with my friends on xbox, and whenever i try to join them or they join me it just says my client version is outdated, even though my stuff is up to date and so is theirs. whats goin on.

If you are playing our game on Steam, please try updating your Steam to the latest version and check it again.
You can update it by following the steps:
1. Open your Steam, click "Steam" on the top left corner,
2. In the pop up window, click "Check for Steam Client Updates.."
3. After updating, try re-login to your Steam account. Then, open the Party Animals.

If you are playing our game on Xbox, please press the Xbox menu button and check your version in ''Manage Game and Add-ons''.
If you can't update the latest one, please reboot your Xbox.
