Wait are you serious? No couch co-op for you!

When my oldest son told me that local co-op was not going to be part of Party Animals I honestly just didn't believe him. My second son's birthday was coming up, so I checked the store page and it said: Shared/Split Screen co-op so I bought it so we could play as a fam... I should have listened to the oldest boy.

Long story short, we ended up refunding my kids birthday present. I'm sure people have been railing about this for days, but I'm throwing a few twigs on the fire too. The decision make a couch co-op style party brawler without any offline functionality was an unbelievably dumb decision. The game is literally called Party Animals folks. Too bad the party is a bust. Never mind the creepy fed looking guy in the corner over there, he's just keeping an eye on things (especially your wallet).

Any ways, our family has been waiting on this game for years, and we were all super excited to get Party Animals up on Big-Picture mode in the living room together. Sadly, that isn't gonna happen and we're wondering why.

There is local split screen co-op. There is just no offline mode.

You can create a private custom lobby, add split screen local players and play whatever content you want. Does that not fit what you need?

sounds like someone thats been bitter about the no offline mode lol. There is Local coop, so the only thing you are referring to is offline mode.

unless it's a skill issue on setting it up, then that's on you

So we're dependent on the servers being up in the far future to play with friends offline at our homes. Not every country has a stable internet connection.
