Quick question about the multiplayer

Wanted the get the game because I saw it has Remote Play Together to play it with a friend. How does the multiplayer actually work? Can I just make a private lobby with said friend and fill it with bots? Or are we supposed to do some sort of squad and play online with others? Doesn't really explain that on the store page.

You can play together in a custom game. From what I've heard you can't do quick match with local players. I haven't tried it though so I'm not 100% certain.

You cannot play without an internet connection so if you have a Steam deck get ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Thats the main reason I refunded.

Uh, does that mean that I could create a custom game with a friend of mine (who still hesitates to pay full price for the game) and play with him - per remote play - and some bots (and maybe even randoms?) to give him the chance to try the game without purchasing it?

It doesnt take a genius to realize this game does not have offline play. But you can totally play on a Steam Deck. I do.

Still can’t play offline which is the entire point of a personal device genius. Really showing the smarts in reading what I said and following me around shilling for the game
