People would complain too if they added denuvo with fully offline.

You can already do local coop

Then have a normal DRM. This game was never advertised as a "online service" or a "always-online" game the same way a MMO or competetive shooter would.

I probably will move on. I'm not against it being an online service the way they described it in the post. Whether the post was made to cover up the fact they lied about it being online or it was a genuine mistake like they stated, we will never know for sure. I'm glad they at least addressed it. Though you being snarky about peoples legitimate complaints of the games falsely advertised offline mode is unwarranted. If it wasn't an issue they wouldn't have been deleting posts/reviews and addressing it in a post in the first place.
I may come back to this game once they flesh out server regions a bit more so I can play with my ausie friends.

How about not adding any DRM at all like most games do? If you think no one is going to buy your game without a draconian DRM maybe your game is ♥♥♥♥.

Though I'd agree with you the devs have came out already and stated they messed up the translation on the description and that their intention was that the game be an online service game.

Games with offline play I have been playing for 10 years and always go back to them. Online services do not have this benefit as once they shut the servers down, your access to the game is revoked. This is a mistake on the devs part.

The only factor behind always-online DRM is greed. It always is.
yeah imagine playing this 30€ party game in 2-3 years when the devs have shut down their authent server :D

I agree wholeheartedly. I don't belive making it always online is good at all but there's nothing we can change about it now. Though I don't think we shouldn't continue to voice our concerns respectfully.
