Upgrade to Deluxe Edition

Hello, will we be able to upgrade the normal version of the game to the deluxe edition??

I've been gifted the game and I liked the deluxe skins (The towel purr looks funny) but it doesn't seem that I can buy the Deluxe for myself (Steam grays out the option "Purchase of myself" 'cause I already own the regular version).
