game crashes at start up

my game keeps crashing at start up, worked once but not since, i get fatal error ue4. how can i fix this?
ryzen 9, rtx 4080, 64gb ran on ssd

I installed the game yesterday for the first time and I have the same issue at start... after pressing the button in the loading screen I get fatal error.

I decided not to buy the game with all these posts about crashes.

Right click game in library > Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity

This fixed it for me, but your issue might be different. Mine was a ue4 error too though.

Go to C drive/ windows/ show hidden/ App Data/ delete the ride 4 folder. should reset the start up check.
