Nice smooth lines, keep your momentum up as the Harley doesn't have great accel so it takes a long time to build your speed back up.
Here's my gold run, realistic ABS on, EB1 everything else off and default setup. I strongly recommend players look for setup fixes if they're struggling for bronze as there's alot more time to be gained simply by improving their riding and I think it creates bad habits to think 'my setup is wrong' instead of 'my riding is wrong'

It`s probably written on page one of gamedesign 101.
It`s usually a better idea to reward players than punishing them, unless you want to make a Dark Souls clone.
In our case, give them a free bike for passing all licenses of a group on gold, but don`t exclude them by making bronze too hard.
Well, the fix couldn`t be more easy, just add a ton of time to bronze. Any skilled hardcore player has no reason to care, since for them it`s about silver and gold anyway. No harm in making it accessible for players of a different skill level.
However, it remains rather poor design imo, since I don`t see the fun in it.
For me, I went through most tests with ease. Now Imatra gate challenge was up for the Superbike license. I hate that track, I avoid it whereever I can, because it`s no fun to me.
Why does the game 100% force me into it? With a challenge I beat by rewinding like a madman?
I've got a video up for this license as well, Mugello is all about flow and well timed change of direction but you can pick up a decent amount of time but just divebombing turn 1 on the brakes as well.
As ever try to avoid abrupt movements and you can also use your R6 to practice full laps in time trial outside of career which will help you get more full lap practice without fear of reset.

Many of the reviews are making a comparison to previous versions of Ride and MotoGP. With those earlier games, game play and overall mechanics are refined at this point. Ride 4 is destined to be great imo and I look forward to when the fix some of the glaring issues. I'm still holding out hope for this game because I do love it, just not in it's current state.
You keep drawing the wrong conclusions because you suffer from tunnel vision. Your way or wrong way.
I have never claimed to be fast, period, I am only showing that I am fast enough, that I don’t need hoops to learn to play this game, that the current design is punishing players instead of teaching them. The license system breaks your flow, it does not expand it.
Just because GT features a similar system does not mean it is an inspired design, if anything it is far from inspired, nor that I as a consumer of this product should shut up about it.
Now go ♥♥♥♥ yourself because I am done with you.
You are on about GT?
Well, that`s design from the 90s, and it was not particularly good back then either.
Plus, as far as I can remember, the two are only similar in name.
GT had short tests that tried to teach you braking points and similar stuff.
And they were easy enough noone ever had much trouble with it.
I really don`t know why you feel like defending a mechanic that actively pushes new players away, and doesn`t add much for "veterans". And can easily be fixed.
Imo it`s generally not a good idea to force players into doing things they don`t enjoy, unless you have good reason to do so ... which I fail to see here.
This is an unofficial GT for bikes if you like. Tests take only 10% of the game at most. And piss easy to pass. Also sick of reading reviews saying "physics are a downgrade" pile of ♥♥♥♥♥.
Clean up you act!
I would just be happy if the AI didn't perform amazing trail braking to the apex every turn, and when you run exactly the same line you cook your front tire and can't stop or turn, if you survive the kamikaze dive bomb that is. Also you can run exactly the same line on the same bike & tires and the AI just drive away from you, and I really feel for inexperienced racers when they see the ridiculously fast speed of the AI at the lowest 20% difficulty setting on the bigger bikes! TBH the list of total fails in this game is just waaay to long to even bother...
its not set out to be a sim lets remember that, it still has to be entertaining, and it really is =)
