Waste of money - exact same as 2020

Just got my refund because game is exact same (as PES20) so your money is going on the privilege (hah!) to continue to play MyClub (which is scripted nonsense anyway) and get access to slow periodic team updates/patches? So essentially we've just paid for renewed support for MyClub and the updates/patches that will eventually bring the game close to current squads?
2021 is 2020 only for the new season. What a con!

It ain't going down like that Konami, no sir! I'll have my money back thanks.

How about this.. how about I dont care about squads if the game is poor? How about you (Konami) start spending money on actual development of this series rather than hand it over for semi-licencing privileges? I dont care about seeing Ronaldo's face on the front of the game or which teams you've manage to secure officially for the game when 90% of the remaining roster is already out-dated.

How about this, how about you make a brilliant game (gameplay etc) and skip the licensing of teams but add an edit option so the community can do that part?

It's a season update. Clue is in the title. They've been very clear on what the game was about this year.

I dont see the problem FIFA is doing updates for 60 euros? So what is your point. Not to mention the gameplay is faster that PES 20 and a lot more responsive. So probably that guy who created the post has no clue what he is talking about?

..they dont need to charge £25 for a team update with the 2021 name stuck on it now do they? They changed nothing, not a thing. If we're simply paying for team rosters then just go to any of the main independent patching sites and download what you need all for free. Smoke patch, Professionals, PTE, Galaxy etc etc they will provide quality updates if the only interest is roster and lets face it most veteran PES players would know this anyway so essentially this is just a cheap marketing ploy to make some easy money from nothing - open the MyClub coffers behind the bluff of updated rosters ...for £25? Come on man, they're having a laugh and it's on us - so please don't try and defend this sham.

Does it really matter what FIFA does?
I'm not really here to discuss if they did any other updates, since i don't own the game or intent to buy it.
But i have never understood why people buy the same game every year, with just very minor changes. A simple season update should be made as an update.

Wow, the season uodate is just an season update, great detective work here. Do you realy think it would get better if they wouldn`t spent money on licencing - looks more like you would be the first to complain why the fans have to do all the work and how good do you think that would sell?

No they don't but they did and you bought it. I am not defending this at all but they have been honest and you chose to ignore it. This version is only for users committed to the online aspect otherwise wait for Lite or download a PES 2020 squad update mod.

You don't care about Ronaldo face, so do I, but kids who buy those games do. That's business, that's marketing. It's heartless, soulless world. But I never understood, why Konami can't make huge database with 100 empty leagues (ideally with 2nd, maybe even 3rd+ divisions).

I am not working for Konami. And its okay to do it when KONAMI the game developer straight up tells you its just the update and the game will be mostly the same. And here you are crying liek a ding dong. Because you bought it. You probably cant read or you dont listen... And on top of that they really enhanced the responsiveness with controller and speed of your player while controlling him.

clueless, they said it from the start what this was going to be, and tbh they changed even more than I expected.
The update is basically free if you play myclub, you get 30$ worth of coins and the update is free
