Why are you all complaining?

28€ instead of 60 for an update (oh hello there EA). Every year we get an update and pay 48€ - 60€. But not every year we get some new features. The game itself is for free, you get coins worth 30 bucks plus agents.
All I read here is: "Mimimi, cry me a river, mimimi, that sucks, mimimi, I buy it anyway, mimimi, that sucks, mimimi". If there wasn´t a "new" PES you would complain to! You guys are the exact same people!
Yes, I would like new features. Yes, I would like better dribbling. Yes, I would like better AI. And fck yes, I would love to see those damn scripts are gone forever!
But this year just sucks. Almost every game that I want was deferred. So what?!

If the game sucks hard and you don´t like it, refund and that´s it! God dmn it, grow the fck up!

Nerf freekick=100% goal for AI.

Add option for ML to turn off regens.

Make loaned players come back to their clubs.

Make better dribbling system.

Fix AI (there are tons of issues here).

Fix online.

Fix penalty system.

More injuries in ML.

Add more leagues and second, maybe even third divisions, even without license, leave the rest to community. Random, empty competitions would be fine.

New commentary would be nice, because it hasn't changed much since PES4? At least Japanese one.

Show all goal scorers in the scoreboard without scrolling, which is lame.

Add stadium editor. Custom made from mods look much worse than original, quality wise with lot of camera issues.

If Konami address at least half of above issues I could buy it, but for now I'm waiting for next gen and download new squads from option file if I find it necessary.

I skipped on PES 2020 so I find it fairly priced as a content update. If you're a PES 2020 owner and you've already played the game for an year and you're mostly focused on offline modes, I can see why this is a hard buy as you get the roster and kit updates with mods anyway.

I still think it was the best course of action for them as skipping a release would've been bad and dedicating more development time for it would've taken away resources from 2022 (Unreal Engine).

I bought it and although I am aware of the issues everybody mentions I'm sure I'll get my money's worth. FIFA is mostly the same too (except off-the pitch features) and that's $60.

Basically, the game's perceived value is different for each of us.

No it is not, just practice. I catch them even online. Don´t blame the game for your faults! And if you watch a match, bad luck. For me it´s fine. Clear, goal, whatever. Like in real life.

THAT´s a good one! Defense is messed up quite often, offense sometimes too.

I doubt it. It´s for years now. Lag cheat still sucks.

Good one as well. Would like it if the player looks in the direction where he is going to shoot at. Exept for the ones that are good at penalty.

In real life players don't even shot on target from free kicks most of the time. Wide shoots are more common (or blocking by the wall), but in PES AI always perfectly aims towards the goal, even with low tier players. Problem is that range shoots are very easy, while in FIFA it's impossible to score from 25+ meters, here every shoot is dangerous, especially from the free kick.

Sooo? Shots with curl are always dangerous especially in PES 2020. Shots from the distance aren´t dangerous most of the time. With the right player, right timing maybe, just maybe, you can score a goal. But most of the time with a knuckle shot. Freekicks are easy. Curl or straight over the wall. The strength is important. I really don´t know what your problem is about freekicks. It´s one of the things that works well in PES. Exept for AI and dribbling.

ye i agree, konami should be praised, very pro consumer, especially compared to other sports titles, madden, nba2k etc.

I stopped playing soccer games for years. My last FIFA was the 16 and my last PES was the 2014. I barely played those both games.

I only play in full manual configuration since FIFA 11 and I'll play this game like this too.

I just decided yesterday to get this game for just 30$ CAD from an official key reseller.

That's the last PES with the Fox Engine and I can't wait for the next one too with the UE5 ;)

EA already sold copy paste games years after years, it was just not officially tagued as a season update... ;)

I don't complain on my side and I'm happy to give this game a chance again because on the pitch it seems so realist in comparison of FIFA...
