Official Tutorial : how to do a clean install

If you experience problems, I got an official clean install tutorial from Konami.
Like to share with you. Saves you time maybe.

To play without any save data or unofficial patches, please try clean installing by following the steps below.
 
Please launch PES 2021 after closing unnecessary applications.
 
■How to do Clean Install
 
※When trying clean installing, please back up the save data. This will reset all progression! Proceed with caution.
※These operation need to be done by user's responsibility.
 
1. Steam Client > Right click on [eFootball PES 2021] > Property
※If "Browse the local file..." is selected at this time, you can see where [eFootball PES 2021] is stored.
 
2. Open [Local File] tab > select uninstall game.
 
3. Dialogue saying if you are willing to delete game file will pop up > Select Delete.
 
4. Before re-install, run Regedit.exe and search registory below:
　HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\1259970\Installed
 
5. If the balue of above(step. 4) is 0x00000001(1), change it to 0.
※By this action, you can check if installing DLL is needed.
※If needed, it will start installing DLL.
 
6. If there is eFootball PES 2021 directory in the Windows User Directory, delete the directory.
If you would like to back up the save data, please do the following:

Run cmd.exe and run the command below:
> cd "\Documents\KONAMI\"
> xcopy /E "eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE" "eFootball PES 2021 Backup"
> rd /s /q "eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE"
 
※In general, it will be "C:\Users[Username]\Documents\KONAMI\eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE", however, please note that it is not always applied depending on your environment.

7. Select library in Steam Client. Right click on [eFootball PES 2021].
 
8. Select [Install the game] and the installation will start.
 
9. When trying to run PES2021.exe after clean installing, please make sure to launch the game with newly created save data and exit any unnecessary applications.
