what controller is compatible with this game?

I'm trying the PS3 controller but the game just wont recognise it. Does this game have some kind of issue with game controllers? Would a xbox 360 controller be more compatible?

I play on pc ,windows 7 ,with a xbox360 wireless controller from many years . Never had problems,working like a charm. Also if you choose to buy xbox one controller ,is working only with windows 10

You need software to emulate PS3 controller to XBOX360 one. For example DS4

edit: but to answer your question - yes, XBOX One/Xbox 360 pad is fully compatible, just plug&play. I would try DS4Windows software to use with your dualshock3

Are u using the controller on pc?

If its compatible, then check if its showing up on Setting.exe , go Controller tab and check
