Yeah that's no problem. I can even get 3 aligned. The 4th one is the hard one.

What a pain in the butt
At least I made it half way through last chapter
(Or in this case just follow the solution given above.)
****edit**** it seems to reset on loading
1) Get a box, and mark it as though it were made of 8 cubes, and mark the front (to represent the 4 cube-faces you see when you’re looking at the puzzle).

2) In the actual game puzzle move each of the 4 controls (just a bit) to see if/where the symbols are located, and place a temporary sticker on each of the individual cube-faces of your box to show where the symbols are.
3) Since you can’t rotate any of the 4 virtual cube-groupings on your box, you represent rotations that would be made in the puzzle by moving stickers on the box to show their new positions.
4) ‘Check mate’ in 5 moves is possible…?
