Chapter 5 Pinball game Missing balls (oh my)

During the game that involves launching a pinball through a dragon and guiding the ball to the bottom with a switch, sometimes the switch won't move while the ball is moving and TWICE I've had the ball(s) just disappear somewhere in the grid while I was guiding it. It never re-surfaces anywhere. Since I have to do this 3 times, the missing balls mean I can't progress in the game. I have been LOVING this game in every other aspect! Help? Anyone? OY!!

If this is in reference to the puzzle opened by the herbarium I am seeing the same problem. I can eventually get the first 2 balls through but have been working for days on the third ball and I am stuck. I am also seeing the ball sometime disappear and need to restart

If the ball gets stuck inside the puzzle, try save and load (go to main menu).

This is truly exceptional. Happened to me as well. The problem is that sometimes this game is so horribly, incompetently obscure and nonsensical (I love when they keep hiding tiny little objects that feel like common decoration and they turned out to be interactible) that I have spend 5 minutes trying to figure out if it's a bug, or a feature. That's really not a good sign.

I have also been trying for days to get the 3rd ball through. Balls 1 & 2 are no problem. Is there a solution to this?

Thank goodness I am not the only one. And there is no sensitivty on this game.

I ran in to this multiple times, all you need to do is to slowdown the left or right movement. If moving too fast it as if the ball gets jammed inbetween the two holes/movements. It would not have happened if did not have 2 holes next to eachother. Sometimes you have to let go of the arrow switch for a second and the puzzle works find.

i know this is an old posting , i just finished the game , if the balls vanish just quit and relaunch , you go back to the puzzle with all balls

I am stuck on ball 3 as well. Sooo frustrating. I cannot finish the game because of this.

edit .... after quitting and relaunching the game remembers how many balls you already got and it gives you the unused ones back

I to have had this problem with ball #3. I appreciate the postings on a fix and will try them all. Have been at this awhile and I want to finish, but ready to give up.
