Have they said anything about cross play? Otherwise, it looks like this will be the same game as last time, but with one more mode that you'll pick up once then never touch again. I don't see the point of buying this.

I could probably see the new feature of 2 players playing the same board having little staying power. At this rate, I've lost all hope that Sega would make Puyo Puyo 35th Anniversary, release Puzzle Pop outside of Apple Arcade (or any subscription service for that matter) or re-release Chronicle with a localization.

AFAIK there is no word on crossplay, which Tetris Effect has.

It's highly unlikely that they would backport these features to "vanilla" PPT2. Even people who liked PPT2 see this re-release as a blatant cash grab.

If anything, our "best chance" of seeing this mode on pc is PPT2 getting delisted and the new version being sold on here
