how to play with 2 local player and 1 or more online player

would like to play online with friends,
2 players on 1 computer, playing online with another player online, or 2 players on 1 another computer
both have their own copies of the game.
trying to not use remote play together because of the lag

when i go to online game mode, i create a free play lobby, my friend can join the game but only as 1 player, not 2..

other games like: Sonic All Stars Racing and Overcooked can do this
the local players just need to press start while in the menu and they are counted as a player. then you set up a lobby/online game and another steam can join

how can do this with puyo tetris 2?

ever heard of parsec? its like steam link but better
