Is there a way to speed up the game?

I play a lot of tetr.io and effect connected.

Tetr.io has infinite skill cap due to being only as fast as the player can place the pieces.

Effect connected while still having a line clear delay is still much faster in the sense of how fast pieces can be placed in succession compared to PPT.

Is there some sort of config file or something that I can edit that would speed up things like DAS or soft drop factor?

Obviously this would be exclusively offline, I don't play PPT online.

No, and this is good. Try to think more about efficiency but not how fast you can place pieces.

I play at the speed I'm at with balancing speed and efficiency. I'm just under 7,000SR ( Tier 10 ) on TE:C and I'm ranked S- on Tetrio.

I feel like when I play PPT/PPT2 I'm mentally twiddling my thumbs half of the time waiting for the soft dropped T piece to drop. It's so damn slow.

That's exactly what I meant: you have to spend more time on efficiency during line clear. The definition of efficiency in ppt and tetr.io are different. You can achieve high efficiency with line clear in ppt. On the contrary, the times you make line clears have to be decreased to some extent.
