I'd also love some more localizations, even if fans have a lot of those covered. Chronicle, please!
While I agree that this was a bit of a cash grab game with plenty of flaws, keep in mind it also boasts what is probably the best writing in the Puyo franchise (at least in a VERY long time) when it comes to Adventure Mode--a fact which may be laughable to hardcore Pro Gamers, but is actually really nice to see for the fans who've gotten into the franchise for the quirky characters (really what sets it apart from a standard Tetris game or falling blocks puzzle).
At this point, we really just have to see what comes of it.
I've enjoyed the writing in Adventure up til stage 5-2 with the Ecolo/Ringo bit. That kinda rubbed me the wrong way.
Right, especially when it comes to the upcoming Steam Deck handheld. Furthermore, all current Puyo Puyo games (including the Tetris series and Champions) need to be patched to work with the Steam Deck controls.
A native Linux port to go with it though, that would be a dream come true.
