Also they said a billion times the game will take 2 YEARS to complete after investment is secured, which still didn't happen
I just checked the website and the ship is nowhere near 80% complete. the ships floorplans are color coded based on how far from completion it is and hardly any of it is fully done. A lot is barely started, theres a lot of not even started chunks.... IDK, it doesnt look 80% to me.
It sucks because when I donated they didnt have all the talk about voiced NPCS and all this. it was strictly a Titanic tour & sinking mode. Thats it. As time went on they kept adding more and more stuff despite YEARS going by (its been nearly a decade) and making so little progress.
Like when they took a vacation to the port city Titanic departed from, looked up street plans, historic photos of buildings etc etc then basically rebuilt a couple blocks of the city as it was in 1912.....come on guys.... with how long its taking you why waste time on the city? Cant that wait until AFTER you finish the ship itself? You know....what we thousands of donors donated multiple times for and youre still nowehre near finishing?!
Several crowd funding campaigns raising their target goal, constantly selling merchandise, and theyre still always broke.
Based on their progress so far and how much they have completed I think its easily going to take another 9 years at least. No investor in their right mind will invest in the project after realizing how poorly managed their project has been. Modeling the ship should be the easiest part of the entire project (relative to 2200 voiced NPCs? realistic water physics?? Ya right) and if that has taken them this long theres no way itll be done before 2030.
IDK how they even plan on doing the water physics.
Let's hope so.
And let's also hope that they know how the Titanic even sank because it certainly did not sink like the Empress of Ireland sank.
