New to Floraverse?
Is it still playable for those who have little to no knowledge of what Floraverse is? Say I want to introduce this game to a friend who might enjoy it. Could they go through it without getting lost with references to the world, events, or characters?

Yes, it doesn't provide much in the way of exposition but most characters referenced you will actually meet so even if confused at first you will eventually learn. That being said, world-building isn't a huge focus here, and you can perfectly enjoy the game without any prior knowledge.

I see. Thanks for the responses.
I was a bit concerned that you HAD to know extensive parts of the Floraverse comic/world in order to understand much of anything in the game. Hopefully, new players aren't discouraged from delving into this and the series.

For the main gameplay you don't really have to know anything, many of your customers your character doesn't know, so you like, get to learn a bit about them as you play, from the fresh eyes of Cerise.
