cage recipe

How do you get the cage recipe? I did the Wild Oryctus Ranch quests, and after the reinforced watering trough delivery, it looked like I learned the cages recipe, but they do not appear in the things I can craft (I expected them to be in agricultural devices). How do I learn this? Is this a quest bug?

There is no "cage recipe". The items with solidity for tamed creatures are:
Fortified Drinking Trough (under Device/Agricultural) for the Barn
Floor Mat (under Device/Refuge) - needed for the higher tier rooms in the Menagerie.
The base rooms in Barn/Menagerie are called Cages.
