blacksmith tools?

I'm supposed to get a blackmisth's hammer, scissors, and a couple other things and bring them to that first little city, to the multiforge. I can't make these items in my mist manor workshop.

I finally turned to the market to BUY the four tools. Carried them to the multi forge. Tells me I don't have them.

This game has been out for over a year and it's still bugged as hell with a handful of quests in the first couple days of playing that are broken or need answers looked up.

Then there's a bunch of co-op stuff to do. If only anybody still played this. ffs.

To make items in you domain, you need the recipe, the materials in your domain store, a workshop with high enough level, and enough skill in that trade. The crafting window will mark whatever you are lacking.

For the quest: it needs the tools to be made of specific materials - browse over the item in the quest to see them (and they will also be marked in the crafting window)

Maybe you are playing at a quiet time - but I always see others on when I play - try asking in general chat. But there should be nothing in the early part of the game needing co-op play until you reach the first daily boss fight.

I actually figured it out, this morning. I had to open dialogue with the guy at the multiforge, and then buy the prints for the blacksmith tools. Then go build them in the mist mansion.



Sadly, asking in chat just gets the same dumb "Make sure they're the right materials" answer. Saying you are unable to build them never got a reply. At least I was able to try different things over and over until I got it figured out. Now I completed this quest, and I can continue onto the next painfully ill-scripted quest.
