I assume you're referring to the little colored diamond indicator on items? Red (Broken), Green (Superior), Blue (Runes), Purple (Highest), and Yellow (Enchanted) base items and Completed (Red level number) or Used (Purple diamond and higher than base level) items unfortunately cannot be filtered out using the item filter menu. As far as I know, they cannot be filtered at all. Just have to deal with them clogging the inventory when doing auto-runs.

For me, i did a search with the following settings, then i put salvage automatically in the item filter. From what i have gotten, i only get Normals and specific items (like loupes and shackles, regardless of conditions. Im assuming item filter is higher priority than condition filter)

Level: 0 - 1000
Num of Abilities: 0 - 8
Rarity: 1 - 5
Equipment position: All
Rune: All
Special: Superior, Highest, Completed, Sacred, Used, Broken

I'd advice setting up a protect filter for Superior/Highest items with stats you want if you're going to filter away all other ones. That way you get rid of the junk while keeping the good stuff.

I'd also recommend anyone that isn't lategame enough to be confident nothing that could drop Completed or Sacred can be better than the gear you're currently using to accept at least L1000 Completed+Sacred items (Just put Level: 0 - 999) - the Completed items I found in Mythic dungeons were strong enough to compete with my regular stuff until just recently.

They'd still be able to compete if I could choose what stats they have, as their stat "value" can be higher than some of the stuff I use currently. As for Sacred items, I only found three pieces (L1000) and those have downright stupid stat counts.

You can also "restore" broken items with 'Purification crystal' and extract the most useful stat from 'Used' items as essence. If you've got excess 'Purification crystal' (or same function items) you could still loot broken stuff.

Finally, try to get yourself a permanent source of the 'Capture' stat - salvaging captured high level monsters is largely what got me to the junk cap.
