Abandoned School Door wont open

I'm at the point where the picture of the people with the hole cut out and date clue on back is showing on door. I've picked it up read it dropped it but I can't get the door to open. What am I doing wrong? Saw a walk through and it should be opening at this point. Tried all keyboard keys, mouse buttons and using Windows xbox controller with no success.

Hello,

When the door is unlocked, you can press and hold left click while looking at it. If you do that, then your cursor will change to arrows. You can then move your mouse according to the arrows (left/right or up/down) and the door will move with it. This whole time, you should be holding left click!

Yep, that did the trick, not sure how to do that on the xbox controller I've been using.

You press the right trigger or the A button and hold it pressed. You then move the Right stick to the correct direction.
